The Canadiens Announce Juraj Slafkovsky's New Weight and It's a Big Surprise
Just moments ago, the Montreal Canadiens organization released updated measurements and weights for various players.
Recall that earlier this week, the players underwent their physical tests, which included measurements and weight. So this data is very fresh and recent.
In short, the Canadiens reveal that Slafkovsky still weighs 238 pounds.
Why is this a surprise? Because just last week, the young player stated:
"Juraj Slafkovsky confirms that he lost weight this summer - he says he currently weighs around 102 or 103 kg (somewhere between 225 and 227 pounds)." Clearly, this was not accurate.
While it's not a huge issue, it's worth noting because it can certainly make a significant difference on the ice and might explain certain things.
In any case, we are eager to see Slafkovsky back in action and sincerely hope he can have another positive season.
We have faith!
