As we reported this morning, during the Canadiens' pre-game against the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, some fans had fun humiliating goalie Kevin Poulin. The goalie made an error in judgment in his half circle and ended up with a Toronto Leafs goal.
Afterwards, at each routine stop that Kevin Poulin made, the Montreal Canadiens fans had fun applauding the Quebec goalie to taunt him, in a way.
Maxim Lapierre, the former Canadiens forward, came to Poulin's defense. Obviously, he was really disgusted with the situation. According to him, Poulin did not deserve this kind of treatment, considering all the efforts he made to get where he is now. He also mentioned that it couldn't have been an easy night for Kevin Poulin's family.
