The Canadiens have agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension (2023-24 to 2024-25) with defenseman Jordan Harris.
The CH confirmed the news. Young defenseman Jordan Harris signed a two-year contract extension. The deal will pay him $1.4M annually.
Annual average of $1.4M annually for Jordan Harris. Two year contract." - Renaud Lavoie
Harris, 22, was drafted 71st overall in 2018 by the Montreal Canadiens. After a solid stint in the NCAA, he signed his NHL entry-level contract late last season.
He had 1 point in 10 games in 2021-22, and 11 points in 47 games this season, after earning his spot following his team's training camp.
He has a bright future and this looks like a great contract for the Habs.
