On Saturday night, we learned that the Habs' goaltender, Samuel Montembeault, was annoyed by a wrist injury that seemed more serious than initially thought. This injury was initially qualified as minor by the Habs' staff.

However, new details emerged a few hours later. According to what was reported by Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports, the injury would require surgery if his situation does not improve. However, the team's trainers do not believe that this injury is serious.

We should therefore know more, when the CH is back in Montreal, if surgery is required in the case of Montembeault.

Head coach Dominique Ducharme tried to reassure the media by mentioning that the team's therapists did not
believe that it would lead to a possible injury.

On Saturday night, Cayden Primeau defended the Habs' net against one of the top teams on the Bettman Circuit, the Colorado Avalanche. The Habs did well despite everything by going for a point by suffering the loss in overtime. Dominique Ducharme's next men's game will be Monday against the Minnesota Wild.
