As we reported yesterday, tipster Kevin Weekes (of ESPN, NHL Network and TSN) has set the hockey world on fire with the news that the New York Islanders could eventually announce (at least) four trades.
He couldn't say when it will happen, because it obviously involves a certain Lou Lamoriello, but we should definitely keep a close eye on it :
As if that wasn't enough, in the last few minutes, the excellent Stefen Rosner (NYIHockeyNow) added a layer:
"I know @KevinWeekes just announced that he wouldn't be surprised if the #Isles announced at least four trades soon.
I wouldn't be surprised if that number was higher than five, maybe higher than six." - Stefen Rosner
Wow! To say the least, it's likely to be shaking up soon (and not just about) with the Islanders.
More details will follow, but according to some reporters like David Pagnotta, a player like Anthony Beauvillier could be involved.
According to Pagnotta, Beauvillier's name has been linked to the Montreal Canadiens, the Anaheim Ducks, the Seattle Kraken and the Dallas Stars.
