We have just seen the first images of defenseman Alexander Romanov in his new New York Islanders uniform.
Of course, it's special to see him wearing colors other than those of the Montreal Canadiens, but we'll have to get used to it.
Romanov was extremely popular with CH fans, and it's clear that for many, these are heartbreaking images, but we are also looking forward to seeing the young Dach in action.
Here is Romanov, with his new colors. Images that are circulating a lot right now and that are making fans react:
The good news is that it confirms his return to North America, he returned to his native country at the beginning of the summer.
Let's recall of course the major trade in question (the one that led to the departure of "Romy").
To the Islanders:
Alexander Romanov (LD)
98th overall pick 2022
To Montreal:
13th overall pick 2022
--------------
In Montreal:
Kirby Dach (C)
In Chicago:
13th overall pick 2022
66th overall pick 2022
