As Martin St-Louis and his men prepare to face the Hurricanes in Carolina tonight, there are several changes and news to note.
First, Jake Evans will be back in the lineup after suffering a violent fall last game.
"Martin St. Louis confirms that Jake Evans will play tonight. Tyler Pitlick will take Mathieu Perreault's place in the lineup." - Montreal Canadiens
Also, please note that Jake Allen will once again be in front of his team's net.
We're likely to see a few trio changes, because Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki will have a new teammate for the game against the Canes. Joel Armia will replace Mike Hoffman and will complete the Caufield-Suzuki duo.
Do you like this decision?
Many have criticized Hoffman's play and nonchalance recently, which put a lot of pressure (especially defensively) on Caufield and Suzuki, when they formed a trio with him. We must also admit that Mike Hoffman is not the greatest skater.
Armia will have his chance on the first trio.
