Tensions are high between the Montreal Canadiens and the Carolina Hurricanes. Two offer sheets, mocking "tweets" and controversial statements, when will this story end?

Sebastian Aho received an offer sheet from the Montreal Canadiens of five years with an annual value of $ 8.460 million in 2019. A pact he accepted with the potential goal of joining the Habs. By signing a contract with a formation, you become a member of the organization in question, which was the case of Aho with the Habs in 2019. He was only with the Tricolore for seven days, but an association is an association.

However, today, Sebastian Aho has completely disavowed the partnership he once had with the Montreal Canadiens.

A reporter asked him how it felt to score against his former team.

Aho retorted with this answer: "It's not my old team."

That doesn't mean you didn't play with a team that you were never with them.

Take the example of Mike Hoffman who was only with the San Jose Sharks for a few minutes/hours when the Senators traded him once. He was traded to the Florida Panthers in the same day. Like it or not, he was a member of the Sharks, even if it was short-lived.

Let's talk about the real deal, please!
