In preparation for tonight's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Montreal Canadiens are currently practicing at the Bell Centre, and for the occasion, head coach Martin St-Louis has completely changed his lineup.
Martin St-Louis shuffles his cards in the morning!
Monahan - Suzuki - Caufield
Drouin - Dach - Anderson
Dadonov - Dvorak - Gallagher
Slafkovsky - Evans - Hoffman
- Luc Gélinas, RDS
It's interesting to see Sean Monahan on the first trio, along with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield. He's certainly earned it and it could be a dominant trio.
Jonathan Drouin also gets a nice promotion to the second line, along with Kirby Dach and Josh Anderson (who is giving up his spot on the first line).
As for the young Juraj Slafkovsky, he is now on the fourth trio of the team and he seems to be getting closer to Laval. To be continued...
More details to come!
