We told you about it in the last few minutes, the trade rumors involving Montreal Canadiens forward Evgeny Dadonov have really intensified today.
First, because Dadonov was absent from today's practice:
"Left out by Martin St. Louis on Saturday night, Evgeni Dadonov is not on the ice with his teammates for practice.
On Saturday after the win over the Blues, he was spotted in conversation with Kent Hughes." - Luc Gélinas, RDS
Secondly, because of that famous talk with Kent Hughes, and thirdly, because with Joel Armia and Juraj Slafkovsky returning to the lineup, Kent Hughes really needs to make a move to lower his forward numbers.
Could Dadonov actually be traded soon? Will he be traded?
Last week, he was never listed as an injured player, but today the team announced that he had a treatment day
Martin St-Louis was asked this question by reporters, but he mentioned that he was not aware of the issue.
The journalists insisted too much for Martin's taste, and he raised his voice:
"Listen, boys. He wasn't on the ice today, Chantal told you so stop!" - Martin St-Louis
To be continued, but one thing is for sure, many fans and pundits aren't really buying this explanation, especially since Dadonov was healthy and out of the lineup on Saturday. (so it's hard for him to have been injured)
Do you think we have already seen the last game of Evgenii Dadonov with the Montreal Canadiens?
