Surprise at Montreal Canadiens' Fastest Skater Event

On this Sunday, the Montreal Canadiens are holding their skills competition, presented by Rona and live from the Bell Centre, and one of the fans' favorite events has just concluded.

We were treated to a nice surprise:

Alex Belzile is the fastest skater on the Montreal Canadiens!

If we compare it to the NHL All-Star Game, Belzile's time of 13.744 would have been almost enough to win the competition. Solid!

Belzile, 31, has 6 points in 10 games this season.

The second event of the day begins shortly, and that is the relay race.
