It's been a little overlooked, because he obviously didn't do it to attract attention, but Montreal Canadiens forward Nick Suzuki made a beautiful gesture yesterday during warm-up.
Reporter Arpon Basu of The Athletic spotted it and then asked about it.
As you can see a bit in the following video:
Suzuki completely interrupted his warm-up yesterday, before the game against the Maple Leafs in Toronto, to take a few minutes to give a young fan a memorable moment.
Suzuki took the time to go into the stands to meet a young fan, chat with him and give him a few unique gifts: a stick, a picture and an autograph.
You don't see that every day, especially not during a warm-up session before a game. Classy, Nick!
The youngster will remember this game for a long time! A magical moment for him.
Congratulations to my colleague Christian Matte (Marqueur.com) for bringing this great story to light.
