Claude Julien is a passionate man, we will never take that away from him. The 61-year-old veteran coach does not want to stop coaching, as he will lead Team Canada at the Beijing Olympics.

Julien's boss will be the great Shane Doan, then he will be supported by Hockey Canada's VP, Scott Salmond. Behind the bench, Julien will be supported by Nolan Baumgartner, Jeremy Colliton and Tyler Dietrich.

Julien has a wealth of experience on the international scene, including being one of the assistants during the conquest of the gold medal in 2014.

That said, could the former coach of the Canadiens, who raised the Stanley Cup with the Boston Bruins in 2011, convince Shane Doan to bring one of his favourites when he coached the Canadiens on his second trip, Jordan Weal?

When Weal was with the Canadiens from 2018 to 2020, Julien used him in every way, even on the massive offense. Today, Weal plays in the KHL, then he knows a whole season with a harvest of 30 points, including 12 goals, in 36 games?

Will the 29-year-old player go to Beijing? Maybe, who knows?
