As he mentioned during the first days of his reign, Kent Hughes will make some moves within the Montreal Canadiens' roster, sooner or later.
Personally, I expected the Habs to move some personnel during the All-Star break. However, they opted for patience with their merchandise (players).
Dan Kramer, an analyst covering the Habs for TSN 690, also thought that Hughes would make his first trade during the break. Why would he do that?
His explanation :
Clearly, the organization has decided to take the patient route with its workforce. They won't let their players go that easily, even if they are available.
This is a good thing, because the Habs will likely be able to maximize its return.
