The Montreal Canadiens have claimed forward Adam Brooks in the lottery from the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Alex Barré-Boulet was claimed by the Seattle Kraken.
In Adam Brooks, the Montreal Canadiens get a very talented support player. Considering the depth on the Leafs' side, he never had a chance to really shine. The 25-year-old forward was once a fourth round pick of the Leafs in 2016. He has a total of 8 points in 18 career NHL games.
Anthony Marcotte even believes he is a better option than Ryan Poehling or Cedric Paquette on the Canadiens' fourth line.
Probably the player the Habs wanted was Alex Barré-Boulet, but the Seattle Kraken was talking long before Marc Bergevin.
