As part of his 32 Thoughts segment on Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday night, host Jeff Marek said that the Montreal Canadiens spoke with Marie-Philip Poulin's agency, in order to know her plans after the 2022 Olympics.
She hasn't received a formal offer, but the Habs are very interested in having the legend of women's hockey in their ranks, in any position. (Possibly in terms of player development) One thing is certain, the female Sidney Crosby is very much in demand at the moment, remember that she has just refused a contract, as a player, with the Trois-Rivières Lions, in the ECHL.
Would you like to see Marie-Philip with the Habs?
Poulin has also confirmed that she wants to play at the 2026 Olympic Games. Will she be open to a management position afterwards?
