As you know, Toronto Maple Leafs player Mitch Marner was the victim of a carjacking at gunpoint earlier this week.

"It happened at the Cineplex movie theater on The Queensway," said a police source.

Marner was robbed of a black Range Rover by three suspects, armed with two guns and a knife. According to a source, Marner was on his way to the movies with a friend when "the guys approached, wearing masks, and said they wanted the vehicle."

This all happened immediately (or almost immediately) after the Toronto Maple Leafs were eliminated early at the hands of the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round of the NHL playoffs.

Supporters are not happy and don't find it funny:

Some people have described the title as "shocking". Do you also think they went too far?
