Tonight the Habs lost to the mighty Panthers in Florida, and one of the events that really caught the eye was when forward Jake Evans took a hard fall and hit the boards hard.
Evans was shaken on the play and took a long time to get up. He was in pain on the ice and left the game.
We finally have some news about Evans. First, forward Nick Suzuki mentioned that his teammate seemed to be doing relatively well.
"He (Evans) seems to be OK" - Nick Suzuki
In the end, the Habs organization just released an update to announce that indeed, Jake Evans is OK. He has an upper body injury and will be re-evaluated on a Day-to-day basis.
Most importantly, he does not have a concussion, which is THE good news here.
