Last night, as the Montreal Canadiens played their very first preseason game against the New Jersey Devils, we witnessed a beautiful moment after the game:
A nice gesture from Tomas Tatar. Great class!
Many wondered what Tatar could have said to the two young Slovaks, in the middle of the Bell Centre, and now we have the answer.
The question was asked to Filip Mesar, if Tatar had given them some advice:
"No, he didn't really give us any advice. Tomas is more of a fun guy. He invited us to go out with him after the game."
- FIlip Mesar
Pretty surprising request, especially in the middle of an ice rink like this, but certainly a highlight for the two young Slovaks in the CH with one of their childhood idols (and probably a night to remember).
We imagine that Tatar had a great night with Mesar and Slafkovsky, and we bet he showed them some of his favorite spots in town.
Remember that the Habs lost 2-1 to the Devils, thanks in part to a goal by Tomas Tatar. As for Mesar and Slafkovsky, they showed some very nice things.
