As we all know, the Canadiens have a great history. Their history was, at one time, very glorious. It is therefore normal that the organization has accumulated many victories against its opponents.
A recent publication has revealed the bête noires of each of the 32 teams in the league. It's no surprise that the CH dominates in this category, being the feared opponent of no less than 11 NHL teams.
It would also have been logical that the Habs bête noire would have been an original team such as the Bruins, Leafs or even the Blackhawks, but this is not the case. It is in fact a fairly young team (founded in 2000) that has this honor. With their 18-9-1-1 record, the Minnesota Wild are the team with the highest success rate against the CH.
Would you have bet on that?
