The Canadiens have announced reinforcements with an addition to the lineup ahead of tonight's game
In the last few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens have released an official statement to announce reinforcements coming to the lineup. Colin White (returning from injury) will be inserted into the lineup, as will defenseman Jordan Harris.
"Jordan Harris and Colin White will be in uniform against Boston, while Michael Pezzetta, Jayden Struble, and Jesse Ylönen will be left out."
- Montreal Canadiens So, two players are arriving as reinforcements to the lineup, Harris and White, while three players are being left out. In the case of Struble, this is obviously important to note.
The newcomer White has only played five games with the Habs before getting injured during a practice session, so this will be an important moment for him to really make his mark under the direction of Martin St. Louis.
As for Jordan Harris, he admitted in a press conference to be extremely happy and privileged to have the opportunity to face off against the Boston Bruins, a great challenge for his team, and he fully intends to prove his boss right.
He seems motivated for tonight, at least!
All the details are here:
"MONTREAL - Fourteen players hit the ice in preparation for the matchup against their longtime rivals, the Boston Bruins, Thursday at the Bell Centre.
Joel Armia, Cole Caufield, and Nick Suzuki were seen with the group before the start of the session but left the ice before the drills began.
Colin White was wearing a white jersey indicating he could take contact. Head coach Martin St. Louis confirmed that the 27-year-old forward and Jordan Harris would be thrown into the fray against the Bruins. Michael Pezzetta, Jayden Struble, and Jesse Ylönen, for their part, will be left out."
- Montreal Canadiens As announced in their usual publication involving Jayden Struble and Martin St. Louis's lineup decisions.
