We've seen some personnel moves within the Canadiens organization.

First, let's note that forwards Lucas Condotta and Luke Tuch have been sent back to the Laval Rocket after playing their game against the Ottawa Senators.

Don't be surprised if they return for the next preseason game, as Martin St. Louis has already hinted that he might rest several veterans and regular players to close out the preseason schedule.

Therefore, there could be recalls, but we'll have to wait and see as the team is currently in Mont-Tremblant to strengthen the already strong bonds in preparation for the season opener.

Roster Cuts for the Laval Rocket

Still on the topic of personnel movements, the Canadiens' AHL affiliate has just announced some cuts.

Forwards Xavier Cormier and Charles Savoie, as well as defensemen Jacob Paquette and Cory Thomas, have officially been released.

They might join the Trois-Rivières Lions this season, the third tier of the Montreal organization.

As for Paquette, he started camp with the Montreal Canadiens.

In short, the picture is becoming clearer as we approach the season, and we're eagerly awaiting the full and official rosters of our three teams (Montreal, Laval, and Trois-Rivières).

Jacob Paquette, 25 years old, is a left-handed defenseman standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 201 pounds. He was a seventh-round pick of the Nashville Predators in the 2017 NHL Draft.

He played 19 games with the Trois-Rivières Lions last season (plus six playoff games).

More details to follow.
