The Canadiens' draft list just came out, and it's down to four names
According to the recent publication by the excellent Marc-Olivier Beaudoin, the decision for the Canadiens' fifth overall pick appears to be down to four names.
See the major exclusive information he just released.
«After discussing again today with my well-informed source on the matter (the one who told me about the Canadiens' strong interest in Beckett Sennecke earlier in May, which was later confirmed), the team seems to have started narrowing down their list of candidates for the #5 pick:
1- Ivan Demidov
2- Cayden Lindstrom
3- Zeev Buium/Beckett Sennecke
So, Tij Iginla does not seem to be in the running' at the moment of writing this.
Of course, they will have other meetings, and a scout could push hard for another player, but for now, it seems to be heading this way.»
- Marc-Olivier Beaudoin Wow, this is huge information!
It seems to be between Ivan Demidov, Cayden Lindstrom, Zeev Buium, and Beckett Sennecke: Tij Iginla overlooked by the Montreal Canadiens?
This will be a major story to follow, but for now, Beaudoin's information appears to be very solid.
Details will follow.
