Tonight's game between the Sabres and Maple Leafs initially anticipated to be uneventful, took a dramatic turn in the final five minutes. The atmosphere ignited following a questionable hit by Rasmus Dahlin on TJ Brodie, setting the stage for tempers to flare and emotions to overflow.
After the dust settled down, the referees decided to send all the players, even Auston Matthews, off to the locker room. They also gave Rasmus Dahlin a 2-minute penalty for his questionable hit.
The refs didn't want to waste any more time and sent all ten players involved off for an early shower.
