Major: A very generous trade offer has just been rejected by Daniel Briere
Over the past few weeks, Scott Laughton's name has been circulating heavily in the trade market, and it seems that acquiring him will come at a very high cost.
Beyond the rumors, Frank Seravalli has obtained some interesting information about a trade offer that Daniel Briere rejected for Laughton.
Indeed, according to Seravalli's sources, here's what was discussed:
"Briere reportedly said no to the St. Louis Blues for a trade involving forward Scott Laughton, which would have brought in a 2023 first-round pick, either the 25th or 29th overall, plus a second-round pick for 2024. Wow."
Would you have accepted it in his place?
Laughton, 29 years old, was the 20th overall pick in the 2012 draft. He collected 43 points in 78 games last season with the Flyers, as well as 30 points in 67 games in 2022.
