Therefore, we can conclude that a trade is actually in the midst of negotiations between the Montreal Canadiens and the Edmonton Oilers. We have just learned something significant about it.
Who is Edmonton targeting from the three Habs goaltenders?
Are they negotiating to acquire Cayden Primeau? Jake Allen? Samuel Montembeault?
Well, according to Friedman, all of the above!
The Oilers are indeed interested in acquiring all three of the Habs' goaltenders! (They want one, but they are open to any of the three)
I would love to be able to hear what is being said and negotiated right now between Kent Hughes and Ken Holland.
Hughes probably has a different price for each of his three goaltenders.
This will be a file to follow, but clearly, the general manager of the Canadiens holds the upper hand in this matter, because it is the Oilers who are desperately in need of help in goal.
