Pierre-Luc Dubois just got told the hard truth, and it's causing a huge reaction
A video has been widely circulated on the web following another trade involving Pierre-Luc Dubois, and the reactions are numerous.
Many fans are fully in agreement with Jeremy Roenick, who puts Dubois in his place and tells him a few home truths.
"Dubois hasn't stopped acting like a big baby since he entered the NHL. He's done nothing but whine and complain since he's been in the NHL. [...]"
- Jeremy Roenick
Roenick doesn't hold back at all.
"He's not consistent as a player at all, simply because he spends too much time whining and crying about where (and for whom) he plays [...]"
- Jeremy Roenick
Roenick is referring here to Dubois' two trade requests and the fact that he no longer wanted to play for John Tortorella in Columbus and was unhappy in a market like Winnipeg (a smaller market with less favorable weather).
In an attempt to "imitate" Dubois, Roenick goes on with unsympathetic tears and complaints.
Here's the excerpt in question, with more direct and harsh words.
Roenick does mention that "if Dubois stops complaining," he can become a game-changing player for the Kings.
"He better play up to his new big contract, because he can be a good hockey player. I hope, for the Kings' sake, that he matures and stops crying and complaining all the time."
Let's just say his message is very clear.
