Less than 24 hours after the loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning, tonight the Montreal Canadiens will face the Florida Panthers, and Martin St-Louis' men will try to get back to winning ways.

For the occasion, the Canadiens just received some bad news as they will face an improved Panthers.

Three big returns

The Panthers just announced that three of their players will officially return to action against the CH: Aleksander Barkov, Aaron Ekblad and Radko Gudas.

This is major for the Habs' opponents, especially when it comes to Barkov and Ekblad, who are possibly their two best players.

Barkov suffered a knee injury on December 17 against the New Jersey Devils. He has 22 points, including six goals, in 25 games this season.

Ekblad suffered a groin injury in the game against the Boston Bruins on October 19. He has 14 points, including four goals, in 24 games this season.

They will both officially return to action tonight against the Habs, adding to the challenge facing Nick Suzuki and his team.

"Coach Maurice confirmed that Aleksander Barkov, Aaron Ekblad and Radko Gudas (all three) have been cleared to play and will return to the lineup tonight against Montreal.

Sergei Bobrovsky will be in front of the net and Anton Levtchi will make his debut." - Florida Panthers
