Today in the news with the Montreal Canadiens, the goaltenders have really caught the attention.
First of all, we learned, thanks to Nick Alberga, that Jake Allen will be back in net very soon.
Did Martin St-Louis agree to confirm the news at a press conference? See his answer :
Allen played his most recent game on January 12 in Boston.
Then, we also had some important news from Carey Price, who skated again this morning. In fact, he practiced for over 40 minutes in Brossard.
During this practice, he moved with great ease, he looked great and he still received good shots.
See the result:
A clear sign that things are moving in the right direction, as Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports mentions.
Also, regarding goaltender Andrew Hammond, he has resumed on-ice training and is nearing a return to action.
