For the past few days, we've been suspecting that this moment was approaching, and well, here we are! According to the renowned journalist Nick Alberga, it's confirmed! Jake Allen will be back in action tomorrow night for the game against the Dallas Stars.
After a long absence, Martin St-Louis and the Habs will finally have their current number 1 goaltender back (pending the return of Carey Price).
As David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period mentions, for those who believe Allen will be traded at the trade deadline, let's just say this return to action comes at the perfect time. This will be a case to watch closely.
Allen is expected to be in front of his team's net tomorrow, 7pm, live at the Bell Centre against the Dallas Stars. We should also expect Cayden Primeau to be sent back to the AHL with the Laval Rocket.
More details to come...
Do you think Allen will be traded by next Monday night?
