Last August, Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes made a surprising revelation including his daughter in an interview on BPM Sports.
On a trip to Newfoundland to celebrate his former client Alex Newhook's Stanley Cup win, Hughes didn't want to go, but his daughter changed his mind.
"Yesterday while I was in the middle of negotiations at home, my daughter was here and I went out to get something to drink. And she said, 'I just had a premonition! If we go to Newfoundland (for Alex Newhook's Stanley Cup party, a former client and family friend), we're going to have Connor Bedard next year!" I made the reservations and we're off to Newfoundland tomorrow!" - Kent Hughes It makes you dream on this Christmas Day. Could we have a miracle for Habs fans? Imagine if Hughes' daughter's prediction comes true!
