After the announcement involving Jonathan Drouin, yesterday, the Montreal Canadiens just announced this:
"The Canadiens have recalled forward Rem Pitlick from the Laval Rocket." - Montreal Canadiens
So after being put on waivers and ignored earlier this month, Pitlick is back with the Tricolore, after collecting three points in three games with the Laval Rocket.
Let's remember that we learned last night that Jonathan Drouin is injured and will have to miss (at least) four to six weeks of activities.
Pitlick could have another chance to prove his worth, as he collected 26 points in 46 games last season with the CH.
Depending on the timing of general manager Kent Hughes' decision, Pitlick may have to go through waivers again if the organization wants to return him to the Rocket. But one thing is for sure, he will do everything he can to avoid this situation.
