We can think of Jeff Skinner's and Jack Campbell's, but what about the Montreal Canadiens?
Jeff Gorton has just settled the matter.
The executive vice president of hockey operations for the Montreal Canadiens officially announced that no contract buyout will take place this summer.
This is obviously great news and a relief for players like Josh Anderson, Brendan Gallagher, and Christian Dvorak.
Anderson and his $5.5 million contract for three more years will remain on the books.
The same goes for Gallagher and his $6.5 million per year contract, valid until 2027. However, it must be admitted that in the case of number 11, he finished the season extremely well.
Josh Anderson scored 20 points in 78 games in 2023-24, including 9 goals.
Brendan Gallagher scored 31 points in 77 games in 2023-24, including 16 goals.
A matter that is postponed to next summer at the earliest, depending obviously on their performance next season.
