Clearly, misfortune and injuries are relentlessly striking the defenseman Joel Edmundson.

The Washington Capitals have just announced that the former Montreal Canadiens player has unfortunately suffered a hand fracture.

He will be out for several weeks.

Capitals defenseman Joel Edmundson underwent surgery on Tuesday for a hand fracture. Given the nature of the injury, Edmundson is expected to be absent for 4 to 6 weeks.
