Acquired from the Montreal Canadiens by the Colorado Avalanche in the transaction involving the young forward Alex Newhook, Gianni Fairbrother has been cut
The verdict has already been rendered for former Montreal Canadien Gianni Fairbrother.
He, who was acquired by the Colorado Avalanche in the transaction involving Alex Newhook, has indeed already been cut by his new team.
Even though he made a good impression, Fairbrother is now heading to the Avalanche's farm club, along with the Quebecer Cédric Paré.
We wish them the best of luck at the Eagles' camp.
Fairbrother, 22 years old, was a 3rd-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 2019. He played 25 games with the Laval Rocket last season, but he was traded on the past June 27th in the transaction that effectively brought Newhook to town.
Fairbrother + 1st round pick 2023 + 2nd round pick 2023
vs
Newhook
We are very much looking forward to revisiting this transaction in a few months.
